Portrait Mini Sessions at Fore River Sanctuary coming in June!

I am so excited for the mini-sessions to be coming. It's so fun to get to catch up with clients, see how the kids have grown over the last year (or two) since our last session, and meet new families. We always have a great time! And this is your chance to get that Christmas card portrait done early before the fall rush to get it done! Also, it's a great way to show off how amazing it is here in Maine when it's warm to all of your friends who have given you a hard time about how long our winter was. (;

Behind the Scenes Video - New Mama gets a Makeover!

I have wanted to do a behind the scenes video of what a studio glamour session is all about for a long time now. I love that I can show people what really happens when they sign up for a glamour session! But what I really love is Heather.

Heathers story is typical of what, I think, most women go through in some way when they become a mom. Life totally changes when you have a baby. It changes in every way for the better (in my humble opinion)!! But it is still a huge change. Everything is upside down. Getting a shower for the day is a major accomplishment. I love the way that Heather describes that part of her life and how excited she is to get to be a "girl" again for the day! We had such a great time together in the studio. And she has the most infectious laugh!! And it doesn't hurt that Heather is also stunningly beautiful too.

Lollipops Rock! Fall Family Session in Yarmouth, Maine

As I gear up for getting to go outside with families again I think about past sessions as well. I started talking to several clients about ideas on what to wear. I realized that somehow this lovely session from last fall never made it onto the blog. 

This family was particularly great. I loved that Grayson kept taking her shoes off. And Bennett has the most amazing green eyes!! We had a lot of fun and even played in the leaves toward the end of the session. 

My favorite thing by far though was that Grayson had never had a lollipop. So I was able to capture her overwhelming amazement that such a thing was given to her. It was serious business to be sure! 

I am so looking forward to getting back outside and playing! I can't wait to see all my families and how the children have grown in the last year!! It's always so great to reconnect with friends and capture some great new memories. And if you haven't given your toddler a lollipop yet definitely wait and call me! (:
