Nonantum Resort Wedding Portraits, Meghan & Craig Tie the Knot

A wedding by the sea is what many couples who come to Maine are looking for. If you haven't checked out the Nonantum Resort then you are missing a really wonderful spot (and a truly stellar staff as well)! As always is the case at this resort this wedding did not disappoint! The day was beautiful as were the arrangements from Brenda's Bloomers. Be sure to check out the amazing (as usual) tent by Sperry Tents. The party really got started with the super fun guys in the Boston band Bearfight. The were fab!!

Senior portraits in the Old Port, Portland, Maine

I love working with teens. I love that we get to change clothes and backgrounds several times and go to a variety of locations. But I also love that it's all about showing off who they are at this point in their lives. Mariah was very quiet and shy. She is such a kind heart. I think these portraits show off her softness and as well as her warm smile. Thank you for having me capture who you are Mariah! I had a great time and loved getting to know you. sunset elopement at portland headlight, ft. willams park, cape elizabeth, maine

when i met christine and dan (and puppy brittany) for the first time it was just moments before they took their vows. we met at portland headlight in cape, elizabeth, maine. it is a most picturesque setting on any day, but, of course, for them it was particularly special (thank you maine for holding off to rain until the next morning!).

the sunset was wonderful as was the view. that never disappoints. i loved how simply but elegantly they both dressed for the occasion. he in a smart blue suit and she in a vintage inspired dress with wonderful blue shoes. the bouquet she carried was made of wooden flowers (wow). it was perfect.

since then we have had some great emails and have connected even more. it's always amazing to me how quickly you can connect with someone through photography. sharing such a momentous event in your life is important. when you do you are connected with that person in a very special way. i always feel honored to be chosen. i love having these moments with people. thank you dan and christine. cheers to many happy years together.
