spring fever family sessions special

so spring arrived here in maine...and HOW! it was 82 degrees last week. weird. i guess we should all just go with it. in honor of the great weather let's get summer (usually that is what it takes to get portraits on the beach here in maine!) started early.

if you have been wanting to or meaning to get family portraits done and then you just never end up making the call...well here's a good reason to do it quick!

i specialize in making everyone in the family feel like they are actually having fun having their portrait taken while making sure they look beautiful! you can see why this is hardly ever on sale now huh? that's a lot of work. (:

here are just a few of my favorites from the session i did with this wonderful family. they just added kiddo number four. just to make things even for lana they decided to grow another girl. (: so tessa has joined the gang. and a sweet bunch they are. i love watching all the 'big' kids interact with new baby. it's pretty great how into her they are. and how can you not be? especially this one that came in at a whopping 5lbs 13oz. a true peanut.

i was excited when leigh asked me to do her engagement photos. i have known leigh for the last few years. she is a great photographer as well as a sweetheart of a person. i hadn't met patrick until the day of this session. he was 'shy' in front of the camera. hmmm, well we fixed that. (: we had a great time...even though between photos they had to put their coats back on! i don't think you can even tell. love is hot like that. yup.
