marie's senior photos september 2010

hard to believe i have know this beautiful teen since she was just a peanut and now she is taller then me! though i admit that isn't too tough. i am so flattered that she called me to take her senior photos.

bridgette & dan, sept 4th, 2010, inn by the sea

bridgette and dan's day was much anticipated as was the hurricane, earl, that was to show up on the same day. the ceremony was to be on cresent beach in cape elizabeth so, of course, we were just wondering if we would even set foot on the sand.

not only did they get married on the beach, but it was a glorious day! bright sun and bright blue skies to match with perfect puffy clouds. the two of them were so in love they had big tears during the ceremony. so sweet they were. i do love love!

there was a beautiful tented reception and dinner after which we went back out to the ocean and sunset view for a few more shots.

i have known this family for years and knew these children when they were born. it is so amazing to me to watch children grow up. the whole process is something i find just beautiful and, of course, always a lot of fun. here are some of my favs from a the family shoot i did with them recently.
