today we celebrated the life of 'grammie lois' as we said goodbye to her, each in our own way. some of us, myself included, did not know her for more then a few years. what i did know was a fiery, kind, and witty woman who knew just what she thought and was not afraid to tell you. oh, and she loved parties. i tried to record the day that i know she would have been happy to be a part of. as i looked at the photos i realized they had captured my view of what 'life in small town america' encapsulates for me as well as a being a another day of enjoying life...just what grammie liked to do.
